My Dreams Have Been Crushed

As I'm sure all of you know, it has been a lifelong ambition of mine to one day become a famous rapper. Today, I thought I could make that dream a reality, but as it turns out I was met with disappointment.

I bought Singstar Pop for Sammy as an early birthday present, and when it arrived we promptly wasted the entire day playing it! For those of you who don't know, this is a sort of karaoke game where you're judged on your singing. One of the songs on this game is "Feel Good Inc." by Gorillaz. Both me and Sam love this band, and the song, so we decided to give it a try. I soon found out that I was rubbish at rapping, as my scores continued to drop the further I went along. The only way I was able to save myslef was by excelling at the actual singing parts (which I kicked butt on by the way!) The great thing about this game is that it tells you how you're doing with each line that you sing. The things it tells you varies from "Good", "Okay", to "Awful". Apparently the game felt the need to dub my intese rapping skills as "Awful". My overall score ended up being "Hopeful".

So, I'm sorry to say that, you probably won't see me owning the back alleys with my sweet skills, since it seems that I don't have them. Somehow I'll have to find some way to get over this major dissapointment. I guess I'll just have to find a new career path!
